What is MARZ?

MARZ is the leading management and consulting agency in producing advertisements and campaigns that are diverse and inclusive through high fashion and commercial modeling.

Who Started MARZ?

Jasmine is a former model that believes models are more dynamic than being pretty. She started modeling with an agency in 2006, paying the agency over $3,000 while only booking 1 job within one year. Leaving the agency shortly after, within 10 years, she was able to book over 50 job opportunities for herself and other models. At that point, she realized as a woman of color the industry was not what she expected. In 2016, she created MARZ Management and Consulting Enterprise to encourage diverse women who are often excluded from the Model Industry, to not limit themselves to society's beauty standards. She books models jobs and offers clients talent for diverse advertisements and campaigns.

What is the process to become a MARZ model?

All potential models must submit their information through our website and email at info@marzenterprise.com the following: natural head-shot, natural full body shot, natural profile, cultural identity, location, age, social media handles, and experience/model resume if applicable. All images submitted must be clear and on a solid background, they may be taken on a cell phone or professional camera. If we find you a great fit then we will be in contact within 48 hours after submission not including weekends.

What type of models is MARZ looking for?

We currently serve women. We are in search of dynamic, diverse, and inclusive individuals. We invite models no matter race, height, body type, gender, mental and/or physical challenges. You are welcome here.

Does MARZ have height or weight requirements?

We do not have a height or weight requirement. We do ask that each model undergo a health assessment that measures our models of physical or mental health status. Physical and mental health is very important. If you believe you have an eating disorder or mental health concern please contact your local healthcare center for we do not have licensed psychologists or health professionals with the agency.

How do models benefit from signing with MARZ?

MARZ Enterprise champions self-empowerment and confidence in individual expression and creativity. MARZ provides guidance, convenience, and security. MARZ Models are represented with their diverse brand stories in mind. MARZ is an advocate for fair model earnings, transparency, and inclusivity.

Health

How does MARZ health approve Models?

Models are given a Health Assessment prior to onboarding. This health assessment plays an important role in your development as a Model. We have partnerships with local therapists and a Mental Health Advocacy Program.

Does MARZ accept models with disabilities?

Yes. MARZ will consider all models regardless of physical or mental conditions.

Do I have to be drug-free to sign with MARZ Enterprise, LLC.?

Yes. MARZ Models are encouraged to be drug-free. We do not support the use of illegal drugs amongst our models. MARZ’s Drug policy aligns with local and state laws, as we believe a drug-free environment is safe, healthy, and professional.

What if a model doesn’t meet MARZ Enterprise, LLC. standards?

Here at MARZ, we are committed to living a healthy lifestyle. We look for models who share this value. Our goal is to increase awareness of your current mental and physical health by gauging areas that need additional attention. Thus, improving your overall mental and physical health in the long run.

Submissions

I haven’t received an email of approval yet, why is that?

MARZ will reply to models we find to be a great fit for our clients within 24-48 hours. You will always be notified whether we find you a great fit or not. We know what it is like to know why you are not selected. We always send an email that either congratulates or declines. Each declined model is added to our roster for a future client that may seek your look, it may be months to a year later, but always remember that every no gets you closer to the next yes.

How long does it take to sign once I am approved?

It is up to the model, this process can be quick or take as long as you prefer. On average it can take up to 5-7 business days if selected by our casting agent, each model is required to complete a phone interview, submit or attend a casting call and sign their contract if they are selected.

What if I don’t have a portfolio?
Models are not required to have a portfolio in order to be a part of an agency. We require clean photos with no makeup and a solid background. You are welcome to submit photos to info@marzenterprise.com with the subject of Model Inquiry. We will review the submission and get back to you if we find you a great fit for our clients.

Job Opportunities

Does MARZ take commissions?

Any commissioned earnings for the model are paid by the client. If there are expenses to be inquired by the agency they are optional and discussed prior to engagement. We would be happy to discuss details on our payments and earnings if you are to be offered an intake interview.

Are there any model fees associated with MARZ Enterprise, LLC.?

When you start as a model there may be expenses but they are often minimal. Models are responsible for the basics to get their careers started. Often that includes their model bag, comp cards, and a physical/electronic book for casting. All models are aware of expenses and how they will be covered by the agency if needed.

Can I be signed with another agency while signed with MARZ?

At this time MARZ offers exclusive contracts. We are not a Mother Agency, we are a Model Agency that services women in New York City and Baltimore, MD.
